Executive Team
MARK LAURIA
Mark Lauria began his insurance career with Liberty Mutual in 1967 as a Sales Representative.  He left to head up sales in 1969 for captive agent Allstate.  During this time he felt very strongly that there was a better way to service a customer.  In 1979 he and his wife Laura Lauria co-founded Mark Lauria Associates Inc. In 2004 a second agency was formed in Red Bank, NJ.  Today, after 32 years they have a reputation for being the agency where things get done correctly and great effort is taken to offer the best protection to the customer.  Mark holds an Associate in Risk Management from The Insurance Institute of America.
LAURA LAURIA
Laura began her insurance career in 1979 when she and her husband Mark Lauria co-founded Mark Lauria Associates.  Lauria is acting Secretary/Treasurer for the agency.  Lauria holds Masters a Degree in Public Administration from Long Island University, and earned a Registered Nursing Degree from St. Vincent’s Nursing School, St. Francis College.
CANDACE GOLDBERG
Candace began her insurance career in Texas in 1974 with American States Insurance Company as a Commercial Rater.  In 1976 she transitioned to CNA as a Commercial Rating Supervisor where she fine tuned her expertise and moved onto the retail side of the business in 1979 for Sleeper Sewell Agency also in Texas where she remained until 1983 when she relocated to New York and joined Mark Lauria in his fledgling agency as a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative.  Today Candace is Executive Vice President overseeing all operations at the agency.  Candace currently holds insurance licenses in New York for Property, Casualty, Personal Lines and Life & Health.

Jim came to Mark Lauria Associates in 2005 from the financial sector.  He is presently an Insurance Producer and holds New York licenses for Property, Casualty, Personal Lines,  and Life & Health.
JACK CASEY JCASEY@MLAURIA.COM
Jack began working with Mark Lauria Associates in 2004 as the Business Development Manager operating out of both the Red Bank and Staten Island offices. He holds business degrees from Monmouth University (BS) and Wagner College (MBA). Jack’s employment history ranges from a family-owned funeral business to Wall Street having held management and sales positions with Casey Funeral Home, Cantor Fitzgerald, and Merrill Lynch. Born and raised in Staten Island, Jack now resides with his family in Tinton Falls, NJ

NOEL DIAZ

Noel has been in the insurance business for over 30 years. He started out his career with one of the Insurance Companies we have represented for many years. Since that time, Noel has held various marketing and management positions with several commercial insurance brokers and agents. In December of 2002, Noel joined Mark Lauria Associates as Senior Account Executive. His focus and area of expertise continues to be managing loss sensitive insurance programs for various clients. He has enjoyed a continuous and successful 17-year business relationship with one of his current clients.  Noel holds brokers licenses in the State of New York and Florida.

CHRISTINA RESCATE CRESCATE@MLAURIA.COM

Christina began her insurance career in 1992 working on large commercial multinational accounts at Marsh & McLennan in NYC where she rose to an Account Representative position before leaving in 2002 to work for AON Risk Services in a senior position on National Accounts.  After taking some time and starting a family, in 2004 she worked for an independent agent in New Jersey.  In February of 2007 she came on board at Mark Lauria Associates where she is currently Commercial Lines Department Manager.  Christina currently holds insurance licenses in both New York and New Jersey.

Annita began her insurance career in 1997 in the State Filings Department of AIG. Her experience there allowed her to understand the process of creating an insurance product.  In 1998 she explored the Brokerage side of insurance in the Entertainment Division of AIG as an Account Representative.   In 2001 she took a position as Commercial Lines Underwriter with Chubb Insurance Company.  Her experience on the brokerage and the underwriting side then allowed her to perfectly fit into her position here at Mark Lauria Assoc. Inc as a Commercial Lines Executive with a focus on larger accounts.  She has been with our agency since 2003.   Annita is licensed in New York.
BERNADINE TOMASUOLO BTOMASUOLO@MLAURIA.COM
Bernadine began her insurance career working with a Nationwide Insurance Agency in 2002 as a Commercial Customer Service Representative.  She joined the staff at Mark Lauria Associates in October 2006 where she handles Commercial Accounts.  Bernadine currently holds a New York insurance license.
Personal Lines  
CHERYL DEOSARAN CDEOSARAN@MLAURIA.COM
Cheryl began her insurance career in Germany, following an Honorable Discharge from Active Duty US Army tour, working for a small agency where she developed an affinity for the industry.  Back in the US, in 1993 she worked for a captive agent GEICO, in Colorado then later Washington, writing and servicing personal accounts.  In 2000 she with a Nationwide agent who offered various coverages and other carriers to her customers, it was here Cheryl wrote and serviced both Personal & Commercial coverage customers.  She came on board in 2008 here at Mark Lauria Associates where she is now the Personal Lines Department Manager.  Cheryl currently holds a New York Property & Casualty License.
STEPHANIE SANTORO SSANTORO@MLAURIA.COM
Stephanie began her insurance career in 1985 with Chubb in NYC as a Customer Service Representative in the Personal Lines Division.  During her 25 years with Chubb she focused on the handling of large account for the VIP insureds where each account had a value in excess of $50,000.
Reception  
JUNE VAZZANA-SPINELLI
June began her insurance career in 1980 with Home Life Insurance Co., in NYC working in the Medical Department performing paramedical exams for applicants applying for a million dollars of life insurance and above. Later she was chosen to head the group agency sales division for small group products. She remained with the company for 21 years until they relocated to Colorado. In 2005 June came on board at Mark Lauria Associates as Director of First Impressions, receptionist and assistant to Mark Lauria.
